When Frank B. Thompson and Cindy Paugh founded PT Risk Management Insurance Services, Ltd. in 1993, they had already developed a passion for insurance that was guaranteed to propel this new company to success.

Since 1968, Frank has lived and breathed the energy insurance industry. As a young producer, he consistently landed on national top 10 lists. In fact, he was so good at his job that he was regularly tapped to educate and train new agents.

Throughout his career, Frank has had hands-on experience with all aspects of energy insurance, from field inspection, compliance and underwriting to claims and loss control. After his tenure at Rollins Burdick Hunter in Anchorage, Alaska, Frank managed and insured the 3,500 ships, boats and skiffs that were required to clean up the mess left by the Exxon Valdez.

This achievement, among many others, sets Frank apart from his competitors when it comes to dealing with things that fuel and propane dealers lose sleep over — from leaks and explosions to the aftermath of disaster.

As a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, (CPCU), Frank has achieved the highest professional designation possible in his industry. It’s further proof that Frank has the integrity and knowhow his clients need to reduce their risk exposure and maximize their profitability.
